Meet Your Provider

What led you to become a doctor or choose your focus of medicine?
Being exposed to different communities and cultures during my training showed consistent disparities in women’s health. It was something I was instantly drawn to, and I have made it a goal to treat each woman with the dignity and care they deserve.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
Having the privilege to help women throughout all steps in their life has been a lifelong dream and has been very rewarding. From helping women through their adolescence and through the changes we all experience in menopause, it has been extremely rewarding. I am so grateful to be a part of these women’s lives.

What is something about you that only your patients would know?
I’m very personable, and every patient that walks into my room I try to treat as family.

What is your proudest moment as a doctor?
Treating women of more mature age, discussing the problems in their lives, including sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse, and helping them live better lives. Also, sharing in the joy with a family after delivering a child.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?
They can expect someone who will always listen and work with them toward their goals – an ally in health and a caring partner in medicine.

What do you find most encouraging about work?
Being able to help someone live a better life or reach a lifetime goal.

What are your top priorities with every patient that you see?
Making sure that the patient feels heard. Letting them know that I’m on their side and that we are a team. Giving every woman the absolute best in health care.

What are the ways that you ensure each patient receives the quality, personalized health care they deserve?
I ensure that each patient is treated special, heard, and has a voice. I work with the rest of my team to prioritize the patient’s experience so that the patient knows she has a lifelong partner in health care.
