What led you to choose your focus of medicine?
My decision to pursue and work in the medical field as a nurse practitioner was driven by my values and pursuit of wellness and compassion for others. This was instilled in me by my family and faith.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
The rewarding part of my line of work in primary care is the impact and relationships that are formed through helping patients achieve their goals, provide guidance and treatment through their medical journeys.

What is something about you that only your patients would know?
My patients would know that I am committed to my work and they can trust me with their personal health care.

How would a patient describe you?
Patients describe me as personable, empathetic, honest and devoted to the upmost quality of patient care. I am persistent in advocating for my patients and willing to provide support in each step.

In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?
The most important parts are communication and trust.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a provider?
They can expect honesty and the upmost level of advocacy as their provider.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
The most encouraging component is being a part of my patients’ medical journeys during both the successes and times of difficulties.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
My top priorities are establishing their goals of treatment, educating my patients and aiding my patients with wellness and preventative care, acute conditions and chronic conditions.

Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personal health care they deserve.
By staying up to date with new treatments, protocols and policies, I will be able to provide the highest level of evidence-based care to my patients.

Do you have any specific medical interests?
My interest in the medical field is preventative measures and early detection to protect a patient’s quality of life and further their wellness.
