Dr. Reichwage is a kind, concerned and very talented surgeon. He explains things in an easy to understand way, then discusses, and then gives his recommendations for your care. He doesn't make you feel rushed into decision making but when you are ready, it is easy to get things scheduled. I could not be more pleased with the care I received from him and his whole office staff.

Very nice

Dr. Reichwage acknowledged usefulness of proper diagnosis of chronic mid-thoracic back pain regardless of scoliosis likely causing pain to further rule out any other possible injuries like a compression fracture. In the event of discussing procedure to correct. No discussion of any new technology treatments or studies currently available, like fusion or gene therapy. Maybe because she would not have been a likely candidate or out of pocket cost, not sure. We were told if MRI doesn't reveal a compression fracture, then basically on to pain management, nerve blocks again and possible steroid injections with last resort being spinal cord stimulator implant with possibility of leads migration and breakage, not to mention possible spinal fluid leakage. Left feeling defeated, yet hopeful that we can discuss further options at follow-up appointment with discussion of MRI mid-thoracic results.
