Dr. Almazan takes her time in examining my Dad - she goes over any recent lab work and the results and conducts a physical exam (listens to heart and lung sounds etc) - answers questions thoroughly and is more than willing to consult with family regarding the best course of care for my Dad. I would highly recommend her as a provider for her caring demeanor, her excellent knowledge on the best practice for the patient and willingness to have the patient participate in their care decisions.

I became a doctor because I wanted to treat everyone – no matter their age or gender – from the beginning to the end of their life.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
The ability to make an impact on every patient's life whether it is physical, mental or emotional is the most encouraging part of my job.

I like to educate my patients about their health and give them advice so we can determine the best plan of care.
