Meet your Provider

What led you to become a doctor or choose your focus of medicine?
I chose the physician assistant profession because of the unique opportunity to expand medical care within my community and the lateral mobility that is built into this role.

What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
The tangible impact of helping patients lead happy and healthy lives.

What is something about you that only your patients would know?
That I do my very best to be respectful of their time.

How would a patient describe you?
I believe my patients would describe me as caring and thorough.

What’s your proudest moment as a doctor?
I feel proud every time a patient returns having followed through with our medical plan and is feeling better.

In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship?
Communication is fundamental; it is important for providers to explain diagnoses and treatment plans in a way that patients can understand and in return patients need to feel comfortable communicating symptoms, concerns, and questions.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?
Patients can be expected to be treated with compassion.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
The concept of life-long learning; is encouraging to know that there will always be new research, procedures, and policies to improve the way we provide care.

What are your top priorities with every patient you see?
Patient education is my top priority. I want every patient to understand what changes have been made after their visit, why we did so, and what to anticipate thereafter.

Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personal health care he/she deserves.
By taking the time to listen to each patient and not rush them, I am able to develop a plan that is specific to that patient’s needs.

Is there anything more or extra you would like prospective patients to know about you?
I want prospective patients to know that they can always ask me questions when concerns arise.

Do you have any specific medical interests?
Preventative care
