About

Overview

The 72-bed facility is separate from the main hospital building on the Baptist Hospital campus and is designed to provide a serene, safe and private environment that optimizes healing. Individual units are divided into areas based on treatment needs to facilitate a personalized experience.

Care Areas

Our units use an array of tranquil colors and abundant natural light to create a healing environment. Patient units are separated to accommodate smaller group sizes, allowing for less stimulation and more time with team members. Our youth services are divided by age group to allow for the appropriate level of engagement by staff and peers, with beds dedicated to children ages 4 – 12 and beds dedicated to adolescents ages 13 – 18. Each patient area has large open day rooms, recreational spaces, quiet rooms, and sensory spaces that allow the care team to adjust the stimuli to meet the comfort needs of the patient. These areas also have access to two outdoor spaces that allow for a more nature-focused approach to healing, including an inclusive sensory playground.
