Baptist Health Care Neurosciences Team Receives Top HealthStream Scores

PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 10, 2017) – Baptist Health Care (BHC) Neurosciences earned consecutive achievement awards for excellence in its service to patients by HealthStream, a leading company in the patient care survey industry.

When asked to rate the hospital's overall service, as part of the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) Survey administered by HealthStream, BHC Neurosciences patients consistently reported superior levels of service.

"The consistency of these impressive results points to the commitment of the remarkable team of professionals in the Neurosciences department to patient centered excellence and to the dedication to our vision of being the trusted partner for improving the quality of life in the communities we serve," says Cynde Gamache, chief nursing officer, BHC.

HealthStream recognizes hospitals with either the Certificate of Achievement (above 75th percentile) or Certificate of Excellence (above 90th percentile) every quarter. To earn this recognition, BHC Neurosciences was compared to 3,300 hospitals nationwide, and has been awarded a certificate every quarter since January 2015.
