Baptist Health Care Honors All Team Members as Legendary VOICES

To honor its team members for their outstanding response to the challenges of the past year presented by COVID-19 and Hurricane Sally, Baptist Health Care (BHC) has named its entire workforce as Legendary VOICES. The tribute is a new iteration of the organization’s annual Baptist Health Care Legends team member awards recognition program that honors individuals who go above and beyond the daily demands of their work to live the BHC values.

“This year, it’s just not possible to single out a few team members for recognition,” said BHC President and CEO Mark Faulkner. “Throughout the challenging year that was 2020, our team members raised the bar. They consistently lived our VOICES, which stands for our Values of Ownership, Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Service. For that reason, we are celebrating all Baptist Health Care team members as Legendary VOICES.”

The recognition comes exactly a year after Baptist treated the first patient to be diagnosed with COVID-19 in Northwest Florida. A year-in-review video produced especially for the recognition can be seen at ebaptisthealthcare.org/about/team-members. The webpage and BHC social media channels will also feature the work of BHC teams, units and departments throughout the coming months.

Legendary VOICES team celebrations are planned March 8 – 12.
