Baptist Medical Group is pleased to welcome highly skilled nurse practitioner Samantha Hoyt, MSN, FNP-C, to its multispecialty provider network. Hoyt specializes in oncology and offers quality, compassionate care to patients at Baptist Medical Group – Hematology-Oncology.

Hoyt earned her Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. She has over 15 years of experience as a nurse, spending more than 12 years of her career with the Baptist Cancer Institute.

Hoyt has also served in leadership roles such as charge nurse for the oncology and medical-surgical floor at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, and nurse manager and charge nurse for the Baptist Cancer Institute at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She also assisted in the development and operations of the COVID Infusion Clinic at Baptist Health Care during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a certified family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified in oncology nursing chemotherapy/immunotherapy by the Oncology Nursing Society.
