Baptist Medical Group is pleased to welcome board-certified nurse midwife Kristen Rardin, MSN, CNM, IBCLC, to its multispecialty provider network. Rardin offers full-scope midwifery care for women and an alternative, holistic approach to wellness, pregnancy and childbirth. She specializes in lactation support for breastfeeding and provides homeopathic solutions for patients looking for an alternative method to women’s health and childbearing. Rardin offers quality, personalized care by supporting shared decision making and informed consent for patients at Baptist Medical Group – Ladies First OBGYN.

Rardin earned her Master of Science in nursing at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She has over 12 years of experience as a nurse across several states. Her experience spans various settings and specialties such as neonatal intensive care, pediatric primary care, labor and delivery and women’s health.

Rardin has also served in leadership roles such as student representative for her MSN-nurse midwifery class at East Carolina University and pioneered an outpatient lactation support clinic for Children’s Medical Group as an internationally board-certified lactation consultant for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She also has been responsible for training team members in labor and delivery settings and has experience both in and out of hospital birth. She is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
