Baptist Medical Group is pleased to welcome board-certified and fellowship-trained rheumatologist Katherine Abella, M.D., to its multispecialty physician network. Dr. Abella offers convenient, quality treatment to adult patients suffering from arthritis, osteoporosis and related aches and pains.

Dr. Abella earned her medical degree at Ross University in Dominica, West Indies, and received her Master of Science in bio-medical sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Abella completed her residency in internal medicine from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and a fellowship in rheumatology at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. She is board certified in internal medicine.
