3/30/2021

Baptist Health Care (BHC) and LandrumHR are working together to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible and interested LandrumHR employees and their families. LandrumHR employs more than 5,600 people in Northwest Florida. This combined effort is expected to make a significant impact on efforts to achieve overall community vaccination goals.

“We are pleased that LandrumHR shares our efforts to make COVID-19 vaccinations a priority by providing the vaccine to its workforce,” said Scott Raynes, executive vice president, Baptist Health Care. “Vaccinations are already showing an impact on the spread of COVID-19 in our community and setting us on the path to a more normal way of life. Partnering with leading employers such as LandrumHR is an important component in that effort, and we are proud to be working with them.”

LandrumHR team members and their family members who meet the current State of Florida qualifying guidelines for receiving the vaccine will be able to schedule a vaccination appointment through BHC’s existing scheduling portals that include online, email and phone. Vaccinations for LandrumHR employees, including PEO (Professional Employer Organization) worksite employees, placed staffing employees, and internal team members, will be administered at Baptist Medical Park – Nine Mile located at 9400 University Parkway, at the corner of University Parkway and Nine Mile Road in Pensacola.

“We’re excited to be able to protect our employees and their families while doing our part to keep our communities safe," said Britt Landrum III, president and CEO of LandrumHR. "Partnering with BHC to offer this program to our employees as we prepare to move to our new downtown headquarters and celebrate our 50-year anniversary is one more reason to look forward to a healthy and exciting 2021!”

Since the vaccine became available, BHC has partnered with the departments of health in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, public and private schools in both counties, church congregations through the Baptist Faith Health Network and with other area businesses. In addition, BHC has made appointments available to members of the greater community who meet Governor DeSantis’ guidelines. To date, BHC has administered nearly 19,000 vaccine doses.
